Bit Fortress is a 2.5D shmup made by Davioware in 8 hours. Let me begin by saying, this game is evil! If you get hit with a bullet just once, then you will go back to the way beginning of the game for another go. What's worse, is that you are plagued by a face, that will stop at nothing to see you dead. Bit Fortress is made in Construct, so make sure you have the latest version of DirectX before you play. This game is straight up classic shmup action with a great style, and great music. I highly recommend this one.
